I am working with a 200 provider, physician owned, MSG in the Pacific Northwest that is adding another Pulmonologist/CC specialist to their team. EBUS is preferred and an interest in exercise studies is welcomed. Call is primarily consultative. As the only PUD/CCM specialists in the service area of 250K the department see---s all aspects of pulmonary and critical care. The entire multispecialty group and the local hospital has shared EMR. The multi-disciplinary conferences are stimulating and clinical faculty appointments are available by teaching University of Washington med students. Also the energetic and stable non-physician team includes a PA-C, RNs, therapists, technicians, and coordinators.
The lifestyle is outstanding. There are many recreational opportunities for the robust enthusiast to locations that fulfill the family---s desires. The community boasts about low crime, not traffic jams and outstanding schools. The group is so family oriented that the provider does not worry about taking either an afternoon off or a couple of hours to be at a family event. The community has an airport that has daily flights to several convenient locations.
